Letter to Ferguson Metals Customers, Vendors and Partners
I am writing to make you aware that Ferguson Metals recently became a part of the O'Neal Steel family of companies. I believe this move is in the best interest of the company's future and, most importantly, the employees and customers that it supports.
I am both proud and appreciative of the efforts and loyalties extended by customers, employees and vendors that have allowed Ferguson Metals to enjoy growth and success. It is my desire that the company not only continues, but realizes its full potential -even in the years beyond my tenure. Our alignment with an organization like O'Neal Steel that shares similar qualities, philosophies and culture, while bringing an expanded set of resources and opportunities, places Ferguson Metals in the best possible position to grow and prosper for many years to come.
O'Neal Steel is a family-owned $2 billion company with over 60 locations and 3500 employees. Over the past several years strategic acquisitions have allowed the company to offer a wider range of products and services. These acquisitions have been delicately managed in a way that each company has maintained its culture and values while enjoying the benefits of being part of a much larger organization.
Although ownership will change, our name will not. I will remain in place as President, directing the efforts of the same managers, office and shop personnel that have helped build the Ferguson organization. As we move forward our intent is to not only maintain, but broaden our level of service and depth of product offerings. Ferguson Metals has worked hard to earn your business and trust. We look forward to continuing and strengthening our relationship as we embark on a new chapter in our history.
