United Performance Metals Offers Laser Cutting, Added to List of AS9100 Approved Services
Hamilton, Ohio - January 20th, 2009-- United Performance Metals now offers laser cutting as its newest processing capability, and has received the needed quality approval to offer this service. Laser cutting provides more cutting options with a high level of accuracy, which UPM can now provide to its customers.
According to Darryl Staton, Director of Quality Assurance, "United Performance Metals has obtained the necessary quality approval for laser cutting, which is recognized in the scope of our AS9100 Certification. This means that we are now able to include laser cutting in the list of approved services covered by UPM's AS9100 Certification."
In addition to laser cutting, UPM offers cut-to-length, leveling, shearing, slitting, edging, sawing, and waterjet cutting.
